A lot is happening within web app development. Much is focused around Node.js where Kopland invests and has knowledge.

Both kopland.no and kart.kopland.no are written using the Meta library React and the Vercel library Next.js. The advantage of these is that React components can easily be run in the browser or in the backend system on Node.js. Everything are written in the same development project. It is unnecessary to have a separate front project and a separate back system project (often in Java or .Net).

As a styling framework, Kopland uses Tailwind since it can easily inline styling directly in the React code. Dedicated CSS files are not needed.

If Kopland is to host prototypes, this can be done at Vercel in the USA. Your domain will then be pointed there.
